Hello Grade One Families,
Recently the students have enjoyed participating in a variety of enriched numeracy-based activities and experiences that have been aimed at enhancing the students understanding of numbers 0-100, place value including tens and ones, 2D shapes and 3D objects, and patterns. The students have explored these numeracy concepts by collaborating and working with their peers through inquiry-based learning while also fostering their understanding of how maths is evident in our everyday world.
