3H and 3A – data collection.

Students in Grade 3 have been exploring data collection and how to create their own graph in response to data they collected from their peers. The following pictures show an activity where students had to create a question and collect data to learn more about what is popular in 3H and 3A. Their questions weren’t allowed to include the word favourite.

Some questions the students came up with were:

What is the most popular garden animal?

Which dinosaur does 3H like the best?

What sport do students in 3H like to play?

What is 3H’s favourite movie out of Shrek, Toy Story and Inside Out?

What farm animal is most popular in 3H?
